Hi Jeff and all.

Just a question: what licence would be preferable for the logo ideas
deliveries ?

Im mean, if a member of this list create a logo, and deliver it as a
work from "discuss at lists.oshwa.org" author, then authors are commons and
are "discuss at lists.oshwa.org" members (taken as a multipartite entity).
I imagine, the transfert of the rights to OSHWA will be easy to port. In
this case, the question of licence is not so important.

But if other people create this logotype, external to OSHWA "galaxy",
then under which licence would it be preferable to deliver the logo ideas ?

If I remember the process for Apache OpenOffice new 2013 logo, the logo
ideas had to be placed "under any free spirit software licences and
derivatives (as Apache licences or any else)" -cite Apache. For
information, this logo process was in 3 steps, submitted to the vote of
the whole Apache community.

Freely,
Antoine C.
