Depends on what the purpose of a journal is, IMO.<div><br></div><div>If the purpose of the journal is academic legitimacy, then you want an editorial board or jury of academics to review what's written. For anyone seeking tenure or looking to maintain tenure, the unfortunate reality is that you need to publish in places your tenure committee recognizes.</div>
