[Discuss] Call for ideas for the new Open Hardware Certification logo

Hi, all -- good ideas here! As you come up with concrete proposals and try
them out graphically, please post them in comments to the post; that's
where we'll go through and collate the ideas from. But feel free of course
to keep discussing here -- i just mean we don't want the ideas to live and
die only in this thread. They need not be finished proposals -- even a
sketch is helpful!

Also, the nature of trademark is that we can't re-use elements from someone
else's trademark, especially in a similar field. So although I see the draw
of basing ours off of CC, that would not make for a good mark, legally
speaking. And in general, to avoid confusion, I think it's best if it's
*quite distinct* from the gear logo referenced in the post.

Re: embedding images, I'm going to try to get a WordPress plugin in place
to do that; for the time being, please just link to images, and we'll work
something out soon. Apologies! It's been a few years since last working
with Wordpress :-)

Thanks for your interest!
