This just wouldn't work. It's a cop-out. We either hack the system or
change it entirely but without some legal boundaries the lobby of those
willing to *close* every successful design will win the battle. If it's
already hard with software (zero marginal cost). Imagine how difficult
it would be with hardware. ($50,000 basic investment for a fab-lab).
