Hi Alicia,

Emilio Velis, the one that helped us to translate the best practices
document to spanish told me that is going to work on a English-version of
the repository over the weekend. The repository tries to follow the key
points on best practices document.

The idea behind this, is that the repository could work like a "Framework",
with a well defined folder structure, files and locations where you can put
everything that you will need to build your OSHW proyect.

In software you can grab a package and compile by yourself. For OSHW
projects I usually have to look in a wiki, then I need to download a file
from another place, etc. The idea is that with this template you can build
a "package" with all the documentation, source code, materials, design
files and extras that you can easily share with anyone who wants to
replicate your project.

The use of GitHub it's just plus that promotes keep tracking of the project
evolution.

Regards,
Mario.
